John Albright also exhibits his personal expression in the form of paintings combining still life and architecture. Taking interesting details he has observed in buiding facades, he inserts an almost surreal addition of still life elements on a ledge or in a niche. The paintings are intentionally unframed so as to function as a trompe l'oeil artifact, often appearing as part of the wall itself.
